Your choice of environment and season will be our guide when it comes to putting your style into the session. It is of course important you are all comfortable but I will give you a nudge to spend a little time planning leading up to your session. Planning doesn’t mean your images are going to be awkward or over posed. Planning will set you free to look and be your best self and enjoy your day making lasting memories.

In my experience where you choose to have your family photography depends on where you and your family are in life. Home creates a more personal setting where I can step back and capture those simple moments and you don’t have to leave the house, pack the spare clothes, prepare essential snacks to keep the small ones and sometimes the big ones happy and no need to pray for rockstar parking when you get there. Or you maybe at the stage where you are ready to pack up and get a little more adventurous and make a day of it at a favourite place that is special to you.
